Alternative Techniques

          While blindness is annoying, it doesn't need to be much more than that.. I'm not trying to say it won't make a difference in your life, it will; but if you go blind you can still do most everything you did while you could see. There are blind people who find it difficult to cope and the reasons are different for each person. I suspect one big reason is that they haven't been given adaquit, or perhaps even competent, training in alternative skills of blindness.

          While this page is not intended as a lesson in these skills I do want to show you what some of them are and I'll give you information on where training is available.
