How You Can Help The Blind Through
The National Federation Of The Blind

There are a number of things you can do to help yourself if you're blind or, if you're sighted, to help those of us who are blind. Perhaps the most important thing is to let others know about the National Federation of the Blind. The most constructive way to deal with ignorance is to provide ACCURATE information and there is no better source for that information than the National Federation of the Blind.

Your volunteer time, working with us, is a vital part of our ability to continue changing what it means to be blind. Whether you're blind or sighted, come to our chapter meetings, state and national conventions, join us when we speak before legislatures promoting Braille and other bills that help blind people become part of society on a basis of equality. You can help us make the difference.

Your tax-deductible contributions are very much appreciated and needed. There are several ways you can make donations to the National Federation of the Blind.

You can become a member of the National Federation of the Blind. Just contact your local chapter. If you're not sure where your local chapter is then contact your state affiliate or the national office to find out who to talk to.
